Exmar Shipmanagement has over a period tested out VesselMan and are pleased about what the platform delivers. One of the main elements was also a seamless integration with Task Assistant - Planned Maintenance Systems delivered by Ulysses Systems. The framework for the integration has been developed and funded by Innovation Norway Greece. The framework enables VesselMan to connect to relevant systems for the technical department. We have been working for some time with VesselMan for evaluation purposes. A good relationship was established throughout the process with constructive feedback and support sessions. The methodology of project management and ability to integrate and visualize our workflows for different project types has been perceived positively. The system will, using modern technologies such as the mobile application, increase the efficient collaboration and transparency between stakeholders. This way the solution meets our requirements in our continuous aim to work smarter in our digital environment. Lene Normann Olsen, VesselMan's CCO says that working with Exmar is educational, inspiring and demanding - which is exactly what we are looking for in a partnership!
"The technical team at Exmar is forward leaning and has a good understanding of how efficient and smart projects should be run. They also allow us to challenge their way of thinking which is unique for the industry. It is truly inspiring working with people like Arne and his team!"

We are thrilled to announce that Remøy Shipping has signed a fleet agreement with VesselMan. VesselMan has provided us with a state-of-the-art tool for project planning, cost control and analysis. We have been using VesselMan for some time now and are very impressed with the possibilities offered by the solution. The insights we get from VesselMan will form an important basis for our negotiations with shipyards and suppliers. Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Express has decided to roll out VesselMan for all dockings and technical projects. Hurtigruten has been sailing in the Norwegian coast for 130 years, and has a forward leaning attitude on how to run smarter projects and how they can work more digitally when it comes to planning and executing technical projects. The onboarding project Hurtigruten completed earlier this year was a success and the result had a positive outcome; "with great focus from the user and with VesselMan as our management platform we managed to complete the dry-docking on budget".
We are pleased to announce that Hurtigruten Norway will use VesselMan on two upcoming projects. The project on MS Richard With is part of Hurtigruten Norway’s green upgrades program, one of Europe's biggest environmental upgrades that will cut CO2 emissions by 25 per cent and NOx emissions by as much as 80 per cent. The second project is a Main Class Renewal with installation of exhaust cleaning system Selective Catalytic Converter (SCR) on MS Nordnorge. For VesselMan, this is a great opportunity to work with like minded people that have the same environmental goals, as well to enable efficient process steps throughout the project and transparency across the fleet. We will convert their existing processes and routines into a digital format and we will create an environment where they will have a good overview of all upcoming projects with focus on cost control and quality on their technical specifications. Our ambition is to show value creation to the management, as well as their superintendents and site managers working with the projects. The project "Smart Maintenance" main goal is to develop a digital service process and workflow that streamlines the interaction process between Corvus Energy as a supplier of battery packs and the ferry company Fjord 1. The process is prepared by VesselMan and the project is supported by Innovation Norway. There will be implemented a solution for digital collaboration related to service assignments and project deliveries. This includes both planned "activities" / "maintenance activities" which will result in a more data-driven flow with recommendations from Corvus Energy's monitoring systems.

I started to study economics to bridge my technical education and and my commercial interest. This has been a goal for me ever since I chose to specialize in Marine System Design at NTNU. Especially, the technical development of shipping has always fascinated me. Alexander's 3,5 years at Wilson Management As has given him experience from the commercial part of the shipping industry, as well as insight of the whole operation of a shipping company. He has studied Marine Technology as well as economics to gain a better understanding of how economics controls the market. We are very excited about getting Alexander on board with us! He has a very customer-centric focus which is essential based on the growth we have had the past year. Alexander will be part of our Customer Success team, and will be working close with our customers on trial projects, as well as our existing clients. We believe he will have a great impact to the team and to our clients! Anchor Element Copy for linking on the same page:
