6 MONTH UPDATE 2020 | NEW CLIENTS, ADDITIONAL FUNDING AND UPCOMING WEBINARS

2020 has been challenging, but it has also showed that our industry has turned quick and is more forward leaning then we expected.
​
Summer holidays are fast approaching here in Norway and it is time to take stock of the first half of 2020.

At VesselMan, we started the year with fresh investor money and big plans for expanding our team and adding new modules to our software.Then COVID-19 struck, and optimism was replaced by uncertainty.

We could no longer travel to present our solution to potential customers, companies were reluctant to invest money in new solutions, and our investors were asking us to cut costs to preserve cash.
​However, in every crisis there are opportunities. We are proud to say that we have been able turn around quickly and adapt to the new situation.

​Customer interaction has been changed to web meetings and webinars, and new customers have been on-boarded with remote training. We have also been able to deliver a new lay-up solution, version 2.0 of our mobile app, and a 
​new cost benchmark module.

We have also just secured additional funding, both in the form of loans as well as grants for R&D projects. This means that we can come out of the summer holidays going full steam ahead, improving our solution even further.

But the most important when building a business, is our customers. Every month we see new customers testing our solution, and our revenue is growing steadily.
​
We have during the past months signed with clients like Altera and GasLog. As well, we have entered a collaboration with Klaveness
​regarding a Condition Monitoring solution.
