We are proud to announce that we have signed a fleet agreement with Salén Ship Management. Salén Ship Management is a ship management company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Their mission is to manage small expedition and destination cruise ships at a very high standard. Salén Ship Management strives to run hands-on operations with a permanent staff which include captains, chief engineers and hotel managers who share their time between ship and shore.

Rem Offshore has finalized a pilot project with VesselMan and has concluded to launch VesselMan across their fleet. Teekay Tankers has signed an agreement with VesselMan to roll out its cloud-based dry-docking solution across its fleet of 50 vessels. The agreement was completed following a 3-month proof of concept (POC) and review. The digitization of dry-docking operations with VesselMan will help our project managers and fleet teams streamline the process, optimizing vessel performance, improving cost effectiveness, and implementing a culture of continuous learning. We have been testing out a few different project management solutions for our dry-dockings, and look forward to testing VesselMan. We have seen features in VesselMan that have been missing in previous tools we have tested, and we will be testing the solution on two projects coming up in the near future. Our company utilizes dry docking facilities at various locations to cater to all dry docking/repair/maintenance requests of all ships and floating structures. To move our business towards digitalization, we have chosen VesselMan which provides a cloud-based Solution as a Service (Solaas) to improve our projects’ planning and productivity. Orion Ship Management recently left Weihai Huadong Ship Repair Co., Ltd in Shandong Province in China, and is pleased with their selected yard after having compared it towards other yards in VesselMan beforehand. Orion Ship Management has a vision to enhance our vessel dry-docking projects planning and management, which is making them more cost and duration efficient on top having all the information stored in the cloud for easy access and audit purpose. TARAKAN EXPRESS being our latest project planned and managed in VesselMan, has allowed our Superintendent to build comprehensive specifications based on previous projects. We are happy to announce that EXMAR have signed a pilot project agreement with VesselMan for two of their upcoming dry-dockings. Over the years EXMAR Group has evolved from a traditional shipping company into an innovation driven gas energy provider. EXMAR’s mission is to serve customers with innovations in the field of offshore extraction, transformation, production, storage, and transportation by sea of liquefied natural gases, petrochemical gases, and liquid hydrocarbons. Arne Lippens, Corporate Technical Manager at EXMAR Ship Management, says they are excited about the pilot projects.

We are very excited to have J. T. Essberger testing out VesselMan for their upcoming dry-docking of Ursula Essberger. John T. Essberger is a pioneer of purpose-built parcel tankers and is one of Europe's leading operators of such tankers, as well as operating Dry Cargo and Ship Management Divisions. In 2021, Essberger and Stolt Tankers entered into a joint venture, E&S Tankers, to operate 48 highly sophisticated parcel tankers ranging in size from 2,800 to 11,300 deadweight tonnes, trading in Europe and in particular within the Baltic, Mediterranean and Northwest Europe.
