We are proud to announce that Roswell Tankers has agreed to run their next dry docking happening this October in VesselMan. We are running a few projects in Greece these days and it is an interesting market and fleet to work with. We have been working for some time with VesselMan for evaluation purposes. A good relationship was established throughout the process with constructive feedback and support sessions. The methodology of project management and ability to integrate and visualize our workflows for different project types has been perceived positively. The system will, using modern technologies such as the mobile application, increase the efficient collaboration and transparency between stakeholders. This way the solution meets our requirements in our continuous aim to work smarter in our digital environment.

We are pleased to announce our newest team member, Alexander Wallem Berge. Alexander has been working at Wilson for around 3,5 years, where he started as an operator and oversaw 8 vessels on a daily basis. He has established a good understanding on how to plan and optimize the voyages of the vessels and to understand the work of the seafarers. Alexander then moved over to the scheduling/ planning department, where his team of 3 was responsible for scheduling and optimizing the operation of about 115 vessels. The job required a precise knowledge of the vessel’s characteristics and the properties of the cargoes. They were also responsible for finding creative solutions if things did not go according to plan. ​ Alexander had daily contact with external contractors, customers and brokers, as well with the internal technical department. We believe this is a valuable experience for his position at VesselMan and that Alexander will bring great knowledge and understanding of how technical departments work, and what needs and requirements contractors and customers have. Alexander also has a great customer-centric approach which will be valuable for our clients.

I started to study economics to bridge my technical education and and my commercial interest. This has been a goal for me ever since I chose to specialize in Marine System Design at NTNU. Especially, the technical development of shipping has always fascinated me.

We are very excited about getting Alexander on board with us! He has a very customer-centric focus which is essential based on the growth we have had the past year. Alexander will be part of our Customer Success team, and will be working close with our customers on trial projects, as well as our existing clients. We believe he will have a great impact to the team and to our clients!
