His expertise includes driving sales of voyage and fleet optimization software, navigation products and providing solution oriented services tailored to client needs. ​Lance is passionate about travelling, technology and making new friends - as well as addressing the evolving challenges faced by the maritime industry;

Established 138 years ago, North Star is the market leading UK provider of mission critical, offshore infrastructure support vessel services operating in offshore wind and conventional energy markets. VesselMan is excited to announce the appointment of Frank Olsen as CEO. Following several years of strong growth VesselMan is now on a trajectory for accelerated expansion. The appointment of Frank as CEO will allow founder Stig Linna to focus more on product development, amplify the platform and together with our clients – build smarter solutions. Stig will continue with full dedication to VesselMan in the role as COO and Board Member. ​Commenting on the appointment Stig says: “I am proud and excited to have Frank onboard – a milestone for VesselMan. We are happy to announce that we are expanding our commercial team. Sebastian Schanche Syran joins us as our Executive Sales Manager. Sebastian has a Master in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School (ex Cass) in London. He has over 11 years’ experience working as a dry cargo broker for Viking Shipping, including two years where he was living and working in Hong Kong. Sebastian's commercial experience will contribute further to the strong commercial department in VesselMan. Sebastian enjoys traveling, food and meeting new people.

I have always been fascinated by Shipping because of the trade of commodities between countries and people, as this is such an important part of the world economy, our society and people’s lives. I believe VesselMan fits in with the right solution to help clients become more efficient through a more streamlined ways of work and digital collaboration across the value chain when executing technical projects and repairs​. This results in clients becoming more competitive on saving costs and free up time to use elsewhere. I can’t wait to be part of VesselMan’s long term growth path.
